The crew at Stellafane are doing a 28" primary at the present
time (when they run the convention seems to be the time that they
pull it out and grind on it under the tent) but anything much
larger will be very difficult to do the grinding.  As for
polishing, it is generally coneded that about 16" is the largest
lap that a single person can push without getting Popeye arms.
