First to note is that the light loss with the smaller secondary
comes to about 1/2 of a mag. in light loss.  This isn't that much
of a loss to the eye so you may find it acceptable.
As to finding another secondary holder, this will be a lot better
than playing around with teh secondary holder you now have as it
will be a lot better looking.   Personally, since you already
have the secondary, put it in and see what it looks like.  I
think that you will find it to be quite acceptable.
