COOL on the binoculars. I have looked through Jim Lawrence's 12" binos
many, many times, and find that merging the images is trivial, even at high
power. All you need is a "real time" adjustment on the scope. Once you are
"close enough", the eyes compensate and the image "pops into view" .
Planets are absolutely amazing!!! What is really freaky is when Jim uses a
set of close eyepieces, and it makes no difference. Just like my glasses -
each eye is different by a few diopters, thus one eye magnifies more than
the other. Do you have any plans/pictures on the web?
