Shouldn't be. But don't stick them so far into the corners that there is nowhere for the fans to get air FROM (it sounds as if your mirror box is perhaps a bit undersized). One thing you might want to be sure of is that the fans blow in roughly the same direction. So that the air is flushed across and away from the mirror, preferably out a hole in the side of the tube. Don't have fans on opposite sides of the mirror pointing towards each other. They could create a dead spot where the boundary layer persists.
My front fan is near the bottom, blowing up. Of course, I never use it anymore, as the fan on the back is more than sufficient for my scope (2" Pyrex) and observing conditions.
