Hi Folks

This topic rings a bell.  I've been meaning to broadcast a "bright new idea" 
I had a while ago.  I've done nothing but lurk here to date - I'm not 
"handy", have few resources, but suddenly have time on my hands.  So - I 
think I'll build a scope!

My bright "new" idea was to try a thin mirror - I have no access to thick 
glass, and few funds to throw at a new hobby.  So, waiting and reading, I 
realise the idea's not so new at all.  Instead of jumping in feet first with 
"my idea", I wonder if anyone could tell me how you anneal a thin blank 
(plate gass) after slumping it?  I've no glass yet, but still dredging for 
ideas that I could make work.
