[ATM] scope idea

Hello to all,

I was reading an artical on a scope that is a reflector.  They used the 
secondary mirror off the side and not centered on a spider to give a better 
view of the sky.   Has anyone done something like this.  I started to think 
as I am designing a 16" scope and thought of putting the secondary off to 
the side out of the incomming view,  changing the mirror angle.   any 
thoughts?
