RE: [ATM] Shadow of Spider On Moon Image.

This is not terribly unusual in optically fast systems when the scene is
bright enough for your eye to close down, giving it a high depth-of-field.

SCT users often complain about secondary shadows when using low power in
bright scenes (lunar, or daylight terrestrial work).

Subject: [ATM] Shadow of Spider On Moon Image.

Recently I have constructed a 6 inch Dobsonian telescope with tube OTA and
tested it out looking at the Moon. That night it was full moon. I found that
at the centre of the full moon there was a faint shadow of the spider. I
have not experience this with my other telescope. Can anyone let me know
what is wrong ?

Thanks
