Tom:
Check out <http://www.abebooks.com>. They list several sources for used
copies of the first edition of Schroeder for $US 30-60. For that matter I
have 2 copies of the 1st edition that are doubly redundant since I also own
a copy of the 2nd edition. List management doesn't want this list to become
an online swap meet so I'll say no more.
Wilson's books are harder to find heavily discounted, which probably means
people find them too valuable to dump on the used book marketplace. I know
I do.
