Yup
It's a 1/2 Hp motor for the overarm and a 1/3Hp Xerox gearmotor for the 
platter drive. But the two stage belt reduction cuts the speed down to 7 
and 4 RPM. It'd take more power to go faster with a 36 inch platter.
