Ti is also prohibitively expensive.  I also agree on
the overkill factor here.  A good 300 series stainless
will last almost forever.

Besides, if you've got any 16-gage round stainless
left over, you can make some really cool jewelry with
it.  Titanium doesn't make very pretty jewelry.  316
can be implanted as a piercing...  um...  uh...  wrong
list?
