[ATM] coma

Hi,
a question about coma in a newtonian...

Does coma increase in a newtonian if a focal reducer is used?

ie if I have an f5 newt, and use a focal reducer to drop the f ratio to f3, 
does the coma stay at the f5 level, or increase to the level of an f3 
newt??? Is the coma a function of the primary's f ratio, or a function of 
the system f ratio?
