Hi Malcolm,

Firstly everything is important to this matter! From matterial to F/
ratio, and ofcourse surface error (or lack there off!). But you didn't
mention where it's going to, this is in some ways more important as this
goes to how "risky" the trip will be for the glass. It won't affect the
value that your insurring for but WILL effect the cost of the insurance.

20" mirror of your quallity, I don't know, but a lot comes to mind. You
could ask a commercial mirror maker such as Swayze Optical (URL to
pricelist http://www.europa.com/~swayze/pricelist/pricelist.html) in
pyrex for a similar mirror your looking at US$2,950 so might be worth
using that number to start your calcs from....

I am ready to Aluminise my mirror. After hearing some horror stories

Couriers I want to be sure that I have adequate insurance cover. Could
