not necessarily infinite . A Banach space is a vector space with a norm.
N-dimensional Euclidean space is a Banach space for example with an
arbitrary N number of dimensions (N being countable ), although not
infinitely dimensional. An example of infinitely dimensional Banach space
can be vector spaces of functions .
Very OT for here but just to set the record straight, as far as I can
remember from a quarter century ago when I studied these topics .
