Thanks to both of you for your help. I actually don't
have the scope yet, i'm going to get it Friday
(18-hour round trip by car - sometimes amateur
astronomy is hard work ;).  I can't wait to pick it
up, despite the terribly long drive.

If it's ok, i'll take the measurements this weekend
and send to the list.  I'm very interested in what you
guys have to say.  I'll have to set up a temporary web
page with some detail photos of the mirror "cell".  I
think this might be a challenge because of some
clearance issues. You'll see what i'm talking about. 
I do have access to a drill press, and i'm working on
getting some scrap alum. in advance.  I'll be in
touch.
