Hi:
I've got two permanent piers, one at my house and one at our
observatory site, I maded identical plates on each to mimic
the head of my telescopes tripod, with this setup it only takes
a few minutes to mount either a wedge for a fork mount or a plate
for a German EQ mount, the thing to do is figure out what kind of
mounts you want to switch and make universal adapters for them,
the dobson is easy, I just layed four concrete flagstones (14"@$2ea)
in a square on the ground in a level area in my yard.
