The surface of the mirror was smooth and the figure was fine. What Clausing said is false, it was not a stain. Clausing left some of the old coating on the mirror and overcoated it. He admitted this to me to my face when I picked up the mirror. He also admitted to me that he put the scratches in the old coating, trying to help it off with cotton balls. Doug Bock
