ATM Astrosystems Ultra-low 1.25 to 2 inch adapter

Anybody have experience with this gadget?  Seems like a good idea that
could help minimize diagonal size by essentially lowering min focuser
height by .5".  
But is it convenient to use?  Do I need to buy one for every 1.25" ep in
my box, or will only one serve as with a conventional adapter?  Is it
well made?  Anybody had problems with some fat eps (eg, 24mm Widefield,
any Pentax XL) not fitting into the recessed adapter?

Any comments appreciated.
