ATM New To List... Have Some Questions!!!

Hi Folks,

I'm fairly new to the list, having been out of the astronomy hobby 
for about 20 years. I now have a 9 year old son who is getting 
interested, so we are looking at building a telescope.

I'm looking at the 4.25 f/10 with the inverted fork mount from 
Richard Berry's book, and also the  Stargazer Steve 4.25 f/10 dobson 
kit.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has built either of these with any 
comments.
