RE: ATM Interchangable secondary mirrors

Protstar makes a holder that can be easily and quickly exchanged. They
are on the Internet... have a web sight and all at
http://www.fpi-protostar.com you can also e-mail them ans ask them for
their little catalog at protostar@fpi-protostar.com. I like the design
of their spider vanes (3 or 4 vane spider) as well. You don't have to
reach down past the vanes to collimate the secondary as all the
adjustment nuts ad screws are right on top and so very assessible. They
also have the option of a built-in dew heater for the secondary (no
wires -- heater is powered through the vane itself on 4 vane model).

Hello.

In "Make your own telescope", Texerau recommends an interchangable
secondary
mirror, one for visual work, one for photography. Has anyone ever
implemented this? Is it useful? What kind of diagonal holder can make
this
easy?

Thank you,
