It includes provisions for defining the mirror, including spherical aberration and turned edge, and shows the spot diagram with various display options. I wrote it mostly as a "how does JAVA work?" exercise so it's not the most robust thing in the world, but I thought some of the folks in the group might be interested. To run it, you need a fairly up-to-date web browser that support JAVA. Here's my current list as to what works: Netscape 3.0.1: OK Netscape 3.0 on a PC (Widows 95): works for some folks Netscape 3.0 on a Mac: OK Netscape 2.0.2: Probably OK Netscape 2.0: No Sun's Hot Java: OK Internet Explorer 3.01: OK The URL is on the Rose City Astronomers web site: http://www.rca-omsi.org/rca/members/bond/bond.html Bob Bond
