Thank you for the hint.  As you suggest, I'll search the archive for addition data.

As to de-centering, I've read that it is difficult to keep the center of one surface 
co-incident with the center of the surface on the back of that glass.  That is keep the 
optical axis of the two surfaces of a single lens alligned.

Again, about wedge.  How often did you measure the glass?  To what accuracy?  How does 
crown and flint grind relative to pyrex?  OK, I check the archives.
