The weights are pressed tight against the mount. The eyebolt was convenient
because the "eye" hooked an available latch on my mount and the "eye", itself,
fit nicely inside the copper tube. The threaded end of the bolt extends a
short way out the tube with room for the large washer and the wing nut. By
tightening the washer against the weights, they press hard and flat against the
mount and are quite rigid (no oscillation).
