ATM missing tiles

I am grinding a 6" apature newtonian reflector and am using a tile tool.  5
out of 21 of the tiles have fallen off.  All but one of the tiles are on
the outside edge.  I am on the last grit of my fine grinding will this
cause any major problems to the sphere in my mirror?  Are there any test
that I can do now to check if my mirror will be affected?  I will
appreciate any replies
