Yikes!! NEVER EVER put metal in a microwave oven!! Sparks! I bet! A coffe
can has a lot of metal! You can easily burn out the microwave with even
short exposures with metal. If your still works, consider yourself lucky.
Even thin aluminum foil is a no-no with microwaves.

I'd recommend sticking to using a conventional stove. ;)
