Uh... I hate to bring bad news... you can send the executioners over to my
place.

Having said that, I guess that YOU guess what the bad news is.  And I am
sure that you know what to do about it.

Remember, John D. has said "There is no mistake in mirror making that will
condemn you to a life of eternal woe."  Of course, he is a monk and never
had to deal with a spouse.
