The panoptics are definitely the next best thing to the Naglers (and, of course offer longer focal lengths too). TeleVue told me that the overall correction of the Naglers was still superior to the Panoptics (but they look so good, it can't be much of a difference). I, personally, love the even wider field of the Naglers, but the Panoptic is cheaper.
