Do you suppose it would be possible to make a Ronchi screen with curved lines, that one could run off a laser printer onto transparency, such that the lines would appear straight on a properly figured mirror?
I would imagine that this would be difficult to do well, as the proper line curvature might change depending on the distance from the focus. Also, one would have to have the grating accurately centered w.r.t. the optical axis.
