Actually Nebraska is one of my favorite States. I am also particularly impressed with your States Legislative SAet-up, a unicameral (one house) legislature as I recall.
Back on topic!. Try Newport glass. They have great supplies. I particularly like their tools. They are plate glass with concentric circles to facilitate the flow of liquid and abrasives. The drawback is that the plate glass tool may chip if not beveled properly and frequently with a whetstone. Beveling glass is rather important anyway so this shouldn't be too much of a drawback.
The pre-ground tools are fine. I recently purchased one for a 12.5" f/6 project I have been working on. The glass was shipped relatively promptly, and the order was complete. I strongly suggest that you also purchase their monocal. I find it invaluable.
Finally their catalog is very informative, if not colorful. They also include all MSDS for the products they sell. Keeps OSHA happy.
