I used AutoCAD (version 13?) to draw the lines. I needed to use the pline command so I could set the width of the first line to .003". The array command alowed me to easily place the rest of the lines at .010" spacing. This was plotted on a Hp LaserJet 4 at 600dpi resolution on standard transparency (mylar) stock. It seemed to work too well (showed a lot more turned down edge than I wanted to see). I've also made more grids at other spacings and line widths but haven't had a chance to compare them.
