Don't use the glazed kind! These are usually a lot more soft and bits of the glaze can flake off in the fine grinding and scratch. Go for the unglazed bathroom tiles. I have found that tile stores often have some end lots that they will sell cheap. Also beware of the tiles with little flakes in them. Some of these flakes can be much harder than the rest of the tile and can scratch.-rik
