You should probably experiment with this. I have had widely variable results. I seem to get severe vignetting with many eyepices/projection distance combinations. It has been suggested that I should use a projection lens instead of an eyepiece (like those from a 16mm movie projector) but I have not tried that. Good luck. -Rik
