[ATM] ATM: Late but accomplished-
To all who have, or will be getting,
The hardcopy of "Understanding Foucault", with its newly added chapter by
my editor/agent, William J. Welker, I have finished the Errata slip, and it
is ready to email to each one of you.
I wanted to especially give credit to Bill, as he prefers to go by, for
authoring the new chapter in "Understanding Foucault", as well as adding a
very informative and insightful appendix, all by his own hand- I could not
have accomplished either one of these in a more lucid and comprehensive
manner. For this I thank Bill.
My ISP just took an hour or so to do some maintenance last night just as I
was getting ready to mail out the slips; however, in a way, it was a good
thing, because I recomposed it this morning and it actually makes a lot
better sense, is a lot smoother for a correction comment, and I am now just
about positive that I have it in the right proportions (by fiddling with it
in Word) that it will fit neatly at the top of page 93, covering the
incorrect three lines referring to Figure 23b. This is my mistake, and I
apologize to you for it.
Bill added a 100% correct description of how the KE and its slit are
arranged, in words and pictures, and really explains the phenomenon
attending the function of this assembly. He has done a brilliant job.
After lunch, where I will clank around with my very stylish, all black
"Canadian Crutches", feeling like Dr. Frankenstein's monster in the dining
hall, I will get this document out to you, each. It is iterated four times
on the one sheet of paper, in case you might not like your first cutout. Not
for me to be directing others about, but I suggest that you will like the
clear, instead of frosted "magic" Scotch brand tape for taping this just on
top of the incorrect lines, with only the one long piece of tape along the
top, so that one can lift it up and see what my stupid error was.
There are also, as added appendicies, three other tutorials by me on
figuring. I believe all of you will enjoy the book immensely; sorry it is so
thin. Not much for an output for a life. Main job was taking care of
Theresa, last five years.
So, after lunch here, in a little bit (the soup kitchen opens the line at
10:45) I will begin sending out the document.
I have enough time to whittle down my inbox before then. I will see what new
contributions our exclusive little club has come up with, what wild and
daring new experiments are being proposed, or having progress being made on
them.
Wellness to all-

P.S.- I can't believe that I have to drive over to the soup kitchen; it is
only as we say here in Okrahoma, "Kattie Kornered" across the street from
the apartments; nevertheless, the man who gave me the epidural injections,
intended to relieve my earlier agonizing back pain (they all vetoed
surgery), let me have a pamphlet- the kind one signs, so the sawbones cannot
be injured by a lawsuit, that one of the possible after effects could be:
(1): No relief from original pain; (2): Weakness and numbness in legs. I got
'em; the pamphlet also said that these after effects could be permanent.
They are. He really earned his money on me, from Uncle Sam (from you guys-
my apologies to you). So, let me go clank around in the soup kitchen, and
then, I will send out those Errata slips. Thank you all.
