Re: [ATM] Fw: Schiefspiegeler

Yeppie, we got wildlife! I live in the suburbs and we've got
plenty of cyotes, i hear them hunting in the streambed across the
street from me at least once a week. I've also seen mountain
lion paw prints down the street on occasion and also have almost
hit a deer a bit around the corner from me. As an aside, why do
deer always want to kill themselves on the front of cars?
They'll wait until you get close and then jump out at you.
Possums and other smaller creatures are a regular occurance also
with one possum in particular that thinks that the trim on my
trailer is a walkway to the next place he is wanting to go.

about a 9mm pistol being part of the observing equipment. A
British member on the list commented that we Americans are
"....obsessed with firearms". One of the guys from Florida
(Tippy D'Aria ???) answered that with, "We have these long, low,
squat legged critters around that like to bite people and drag
them off into the swamp." The Brit replied, "You have crocodiles
at your observing site?" "Nah....over here we call em 'gators"
(add appropriate Southern drawl). That was followed by replies
about coyotes in California and other places, snakes in Texas,
mountain lions in Arizona and Colorado, badgers in Wisconsin,
bears, stray dogs and cats everywhere, etc.
