Lucky you.
Mirage in the UK must be different than here.
You are blessed with such a good "seeing".
I have seen plenty but not a single one that was sharp and stable.
The ones I have seen were rapidly "boiling" and very diffuse.
We call them also differently  "Fata Morgana" (from Italian).
