Neither glass nor pitch will do anything in a microwave oven. They are
both good insulators and have very low losses at radio frequencies.
However, if you don't understand any of the laws of physics then DON'T
DO IT and DON'T EVER PUT ANYTHING IN A MICROWAVE OVEN OR YOU MAY BE
INJURED.
