Hi Norm and all,

I'm a rooky at this mirror stuff too. I'm behind you a little bit. I've
only gotten my 6f6 to 220 grit. But I did put together my Foucault
tester this weekend for the purpose of checking the approximate center
of curvature.

Back on subject, like you I was going to use the Foucault tester to
monitor the developing sphere as I progressed through the polishing
phase. My goal was to catch any TDE as quick as possible.

So question for the experts, does it make sense to use the Foucault test
throughout polishing to monitor the developing sphere for TDE?
