Depends upon the type of tile tool thatyouu are using,  A tile
tool with the tiles embedded in the tool doesn't need sanding as
the edge is soft and won't cause scratches.  There should be no
hard tiles exposed at the edge as those will chip off and cuse
problems.  Glass tools and tile tools with glued on tiles do need
the tiedges chamfered tho.
