Hey Ross:

Have you ever given any consideration to the problem/desirability of
incorporating a collapsible or foldable connecting tube into to your design?
It would seem to me that the current 1 piece tube is the last feature of the
design that has yet to me made fully portable.  Solving that issue without
severely compromising vibration & collimation stability would be a real
challenge, and feather in the cap for whomever solves it.

I think you are right--especally because my scope is purely for visual use,
so i can tolerate much more vibration and flexure,
