I have now had an opportunity to check. The book I borrowed is
in fact the exact same one mentioned by Vladimir. It has a lot
of information about non-glass optical materials with a lot of
references. I could site some if you want, but I would recommend
locating it.

For those who have not encountered this book, there is a LOT of
general information. In my case, I was looking for the Kingslake
book we discussed earlier that has a solution to the Schmidt curve,
but that has been stolen from several libraries here since the
author's death (not sure what's going on). In one library (KTH,
Stockholm) the Handbook of Optics was sitting right next to where
the Kingslake book was supposed to be, and the Handbook of Optics
happened to have information and equations about the Schmidt curve.
Quite a good general reference for ATMs! Sadly, I still have not
located the Kingslake book.
