I'm not sure I understand method 2, particularly what is meant by
"reduce the edge below the defect" and "the edge will return
eventually". Seems like he's discussing actually accentuating a flatter
edge first (to create the "dome shape") and then polishing off the dome
with mirror on top. Seems counter-intuitive to me; I already have a
flat edge ... that's what I'm trying to fix.
I'm still very much fighting with my TDE, which is worse now than before
I started trying to fix it, so I'm interested in understanding how this
approach could work if anyone can explain. Thanks,
