Just got through with some engine work on my Harley which has an 
aluminum engine and steel fasteners, so I learned all about galvanic 
corrosion.  The hard way.  :)

What you want to do is go down to your local auto parts store and pick 
up some anti-seize.  It's in a small toothpaste tube and is a silvery 
paste.  Use it sparingly, one tube lasts a heck of a long time... :)
