Don,
I would make certain you are not exceeding the Max Pressure marked on the sidewall of the tire. I have Cooper 205-70R15 and the max pressure for them is only 35 lbs.
Watch for any signs of tread wear at the center of the tread. Most tires were not meant to be constantly run at the max tire pressure.
