Not my decision to make. The primary is the gem out of the middle of the
scrap heap.
Storage on the OTA was pretty rough in the last 20 years.
I do agree that a shorter tube would be the way to go, but it will work out
that way in the long run.
I will steer them that direction if I can, but it will always be "Grandpa"
no matter how it ends up.
Perhaps "Grandpa" will be just one of many scopes for these kids. :)
