RE: [ATM] Perfect Telescope - was FAILURE, Warning...

Peter and Tom,
One little problem - we all have different primary requirements. I really
don't care what you hold the mirror in the scope with, if it doesn't fit
into my car (sports car trunk), then it isn't perfect ... for me!

I will start with a few requirements that I like:

* I can lift it. Each seperable part must be under 45 pounds.
* It fits in the hatch of a car. Trusses must fit in the length of the
interior of a car. Step stools are OK. I will buy a new hatchback car if
necessary. I will not buy a seperate truck just for astronomy.
* Biggest mirror that I can get that fits the other requirements.
* Sets up in 5 minutes, breaks down in 5 minutes.
* 2" focuser.
* Very good at resisting vibration, including in a wind.
* Goto not needed or desired. I want to learn the skies visually.
* Setting circles would be nice, but not necessary.
* Somewhere around an f5. Any slower, it is too tall. Much faster and the
images aren't as sharp.
* Sufficient baffling for a fairly dark country site.
* Manufacturable by someone with normal skills. i.e., no vacuum bags, or
special arc welders, or machine shop lathes, etc.

Did I miss anything?
