A few words of caution about ferric chloride, if you have any metal pipes 
(drains etc.) in your home and dump it down the sink, make sure to flush 
plenty of water with it.  I had a friend who was making some circuit boards 
for our ham club back in the 80's who dumped the used solution into a sink 
with a metal drain pipe.  The next morning there was a terrible mess on the 
floor when the solution had eaten through an old pipe.  Those stains are 
nearly impossible to remove.  I've also found  warming the solution with a 
small amount of hot water speeds up the action.
