[ATM] RE: Silicone Failure

I can understand what David is saying, and I'd have to agree for the 
most part. Guy makes a valid point, too. For a mirror as large as the 
one where the Silicone failed, some type of minor edge clips might be 
the order of the day.... to ever so slightly take some the load off of 
the Silicone when the OTA is in declination. For a large mirror, any 
stress wouldn't present any visual artifacts. Am I wrong about this?
