RE: [ATM] RE: Silicone Failure



McMaster-Carr sells Dow Corning 832 silicone for $8.75 a tube.  This
stuff is alcohol-based, and is "noncorrosive".  It is the adhesive of
choice for attaching very large (multi-ton) mirrors to metal lifting
pads (etc.) at the Steward Mirror Lab (for one example).
