Sure, but it disappears completely by the time the stuff has
cured. Every cartridge of silicon sealer you've ever picked up
in a hardware shop is based on it. There is an acid free variety
for use in the electronics industry for sticking kludge wires
onto PCB's, but it's expensive and very weak.
