I'd welcome discussions of the relative technical merits of various optical 
tests posted here and/or on atm_free. We've had some interesting posts the 
past several months involving real data, but there's always more to learn.

I've lurked in the Zambuto group briefly a time or two when people have 
alerted me to threads that might interest me. A big problem with that group 
is you have to choose your words very very carefully if you disagree with 
the proprietor. I don't think anyone has been booted off the ATM list 
recently for making a technical point, even undiplomatically.
