Intuitively I can not believe this stiffness statement. Perhaps  stiffness
to mass (weight) ratio
but stiffness alone?
In my mental picture I imagine cellular blank which has certain stiffness
than start filling
its voids with material. That should gradually decrease overall stiffness if
the end stiffness
 is to be lower than starting one. How come? Enlighten me please. Thanks in
advance.
